Social Justice Reflection

In this project, the main objective of it is to create an artwork that doesn't exactly tell you what it means but still show some hint of the issues in the world we chose. We started this project by brainstorming about different issues that came to our minds. Then we narrow it down to choose and focus on one topic. We then make three sketches and choose one to make a final sketch. After that, we have to trace down the one that we chose onto the lino and start to cut out the negative areas and paint it using the roller and put it over the paper. My social issue is about water pollution, I've been seeing the water filled with chemical and trashes all the time. So I think that I should show how trash is in the water by putting trashes around the diver that went down to find a clean bottle of water. I think that this topic is very important because based on "nrdc.org", it is said that less than 1 percent of clean water is accessible to us. So everyone should try to keep the water clean by throwing trashes in the right place and don't pollute the water.
