What I learned in school this week

In this first week, we get to read a short story called "Lamb to the Slaughter". We learned about character traits, we need to find their traits by looking in the text after you find it you need to write an assertion which you need to tell why the quote from the text shows that the character is like this. We also learned about direct and indirect characterization. Direct characterization is when the narrator tells something about the character but the indirect characterization is when the narrator shows it through the character's action or thing that they say.

2. funny	“Gary go away!, can’t you see I’m trying to forget you?”	This shows that he is funny because of the word that he uses.
3.happy	“SpongeBob starts Dancing”	It shows that he is happy because he dances around.
